Today, I thought I would take a trip down memory lane. Last year I partnered up with a friend of mine to plan and host a baby shower for our good friend. We had so much fun planning this shower and it came together quite beautifully. In fact, it was featured on the HWTM blog last year. We drew lots of inspiration from Amy over at Stem Parties (she’s fabulous!). Here are a few photos from the event. Planning this event was one of the many events that I planned last year that led me to my decision to launch my own business. I have a true passion for planning celebrations!
When we started off planning the event, we knew right away that we wanted it to be modern, different and completely reflective of the mommy to be. Our friend’s favorite color was orange, so we started with that to create the bright and cheerful event. We found a beautiful art gallery that displayed children artwork as the perfect location for the shower. Those two elements set the tone for the spectacular event.
For the placesetting we used scrapbook paper as the placemat (a really inexpensive idea and it can add some color to your table) with a napkin ring made with ribbon and circle punch. “Oh Boy”.
Beautiful and very creative!!!
I love this! Everything is so wonderful!
Very creative! I love it! What art gallery was this?
