Today, I want to welcome our first sparkling contributor to our blog! Stefani Khan from La Belle Parties! Remember, Stefani? Well she kinda won the second round of the Designer’s Challenge “Love” edition! Her red burlap wreath left everyone’s heart melted. Stefani runs an adorable ETSY shop where you can find cute and whimsical designs for all types of celebrations.
Stefani is always sharing such wonderful DIY tutorials and party ideas on her blog and I’m so excited to have her contribute from time to time here on “The Sparkle Spot“.
Read on for her full bio!

Here is a little info about me. I am a wife, a mommy, a teacher and new on my list is party planner. I love adding personal touches to everything, in my dream world my home would be perfectly organized and spotless, and look like a cross between Pottery Barn and fabulous flea market make-overs, and I am totally addicted to drinking Go Girl and Starbucks Grande Non-Fat Chai Tea Lattes! {{lol}}
I am truly blessed with an amazing family. I have a wonderful, supportive husband (who helps out with his fabulous treat making), and four amazing boys, that I often refer to as the wild things. {{smile}} They are 13, 3 year old twins and 1. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment at our house and I wouldn’t have it any other way. They are also the reason why you will notice that most of my posts come in the middle of the night! That and all the caffeine.{{lol}}
After years of helping family and friends plan parties, I am so excited to finally be living my dream of being a party planner! I’ve even recently opened my own etsy shop to sell my party decor. I LOVE creating and sharing my passion with everyone! I have sooooo many ideas bouncing around in my head and I can’t wait to share all of them with you.

Happy Monday!
This weekend we planned a lovely bridal shower for a beautiful couple. Today I want to share the lovely invitations we designed. When our client came to us about her sister’s shower, she described this lovely and decadent wedding that is inspired by the couples love for travel. She wanted the theme of the shower to connect with the wedding but also stand on its own with a little difference. So I came up with the theme of an old romantic method of travel or screams love in the air……… vintage hot air balloon bridal shower called perfectly…Love On Top. So we designed this bridal shower invitation as a antique feel boarding pass.
I can’t wait to share pictures of the event but first here are the invitations!

Happy Monday!
I know it’s been such a long time since I have posted anything on the blog but I’ve been so busy. Last week I was blessed enough to be selected to attend Martha Stewart’s Dreamers Into Doer’s event in New York City and I have been trying to catch up ever since. I hope to have a full recap later on this week about how wonderful the trip was. It was a complete blast and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Meeting a lot of the lovely ladies that I have chatted with over the past couple years was simply magical…. more to come!
Well, we have been in chevron mania amongst other things! Yep, we have a handful of brides who all want chevron invitations, so here is the first our custom chevron designs. This color palette is so romantic. Silver + Gray + Blush with a pop of black had me at hello! This suite is a square set and the bride opted to add one of our favorite details… the RSVP card affixed by ribbon corners. Sealed with a glamourous Swarovski crystal brooch slider, this suite is MOD & GLAM. Come take a look at the silver & blush chevron wedding invitations!

These gorgeous wedding boarding pass invitations are designed with my favorite color in mind, purple! Purple, lavender and gold…what a fabulous combination. This bride also opted to add Swarovski crystals to their invitation suite and they came out just beautiful. The gorgeous purple jacket truly completed the look for the invitation suite.

We are back with our Meet the Challenger series highlighting a challenger from our upcoming “Designer’s Challenge – Favorite TV Show” edition. Meet Kathy from Tickled Peach Studio. Tickled Peach Studio has the most adorable custom party printables shop and on her blog she shares lovely party inspiration. I’m so excited to see what Kathy comes up with for this challenge! Let’s Meet Tickled Peach Studio:

- What is your favorite color?
I am addicted to green! My favorite is sage green.
- What is the best bargain you ever got?
I found a 7-piece set of decorative plates by Ashley Manor at a garage sale for $10. After getting home and searching for the design online I found out the plates were valued at approximately $150!
- Are you a beach or pool person?
I enjoy sitting and walking on the beach, but enjoy swimming in a pool.
- Do you still ride roller coasters?
I would, but we haven’t been to a theme park in at least 5 years.
- What is your favorite vacation spot?
I prefer a quiet location with beautiful scenery and history.
- What is your most embarrassing moment?
I embarrass very easily so picking one moment is impossible.
- What is your favorite sound?
My favorite sound is the laughter of my two year old daughter. She brings a smile to my face every time she laughs.
- What would you describe as your design style?
I would describe my design style as simple, classy, and clean.
- Who is your biggest inspiration?
My husband and daughter inspire me daily. They are my whole world and I always strive to be a better wife and mother for them.
- If you could have a theme song, what would it be?
Can I have a theme band? Over the years any song by Matchbox 20 has become by theme song depending on what was happening in my life.
- If you could pick any reality TV star that relates to you, who would it be?
I don’t really relate to any reality TV stars, and I am not sure I would want to.
- What’s a motto you live by?
Laughter is good for the soul.
