Robin Michelle, Creative Director, started her career in the IT industry in 1996.  With a concentration in technical writing, quality assurance, and project management, she has learned to transfer those skills in every aspect of her life. Her commitment to execution and excellent customer service has resulted in numerous successful events.

Robin’s creative nature and ability to “think outside the box” adds those special touches to Sparkling Events. Her close attention to details and creativeness led her to search for a new career in event planning and motivated her to complete the Event Management Certificate Program at Northern Virginia Community College and in 2005 she began her second career as an event planner for a catering company. Robin brings to the table everything an event planning company loves. Inspiration, innovation, fresh ideas, and the ability to execute any vision brought to her, which led her to the decision to take on the role of Creative Director with SED.

She is also the owner of Ladybug Craftique, a unique gift and craft boutique that specializes in handmade crafts, greeting cards, party favors, and sweet treats which are also showcased at the Art on the Avenue festival in Del Ray, Virginia.
