{A Little Sparkling Tip} Wedding Receiving Lines

July 7th, 2011 in sparkling event guru tips, sparkling tips, wedding receiving line etiquette
Rule of Thumb
When planning the receiving line at a wedding it is important to allocate enough time to greet all guests and stay on your schedule.  It takes approximately 20 seconds per guest.  For a wedding with 150 people, estimate the receiving line taking about 45 minutes. This plays a key part in planning your timeline for the day. An alternative to the having a receiving line would be to greet guest during the reception.
